We love Bert Kaempfert

Een van mijn muzikale helden! Hier een prachtige medley van Bert en zijn band met de nederlandse solist Ack van Rooyen in een glansrol. Volgens mij uit de jaren 70.

One of my musical heroes! A great performance from Bert and his band with a leading part for Ack van Rooyen on Trumpet/Fluegelhorn. Must have been during the 70's.

Ik zit momenteel in een kitscherige Zwitserland periode. Dus je kunt binnenkort nog meer van dit soort 'heimat-art'verwachten.

I'm in a kind of campy Swiss style period. So watch out for more of this 'heimat-art'.

My take on famous Dutch scientist Christiaan Huygens and his struggle between religious belief and sience.

Traction-avant

Nog zo'n franse klassieker. Dit keer de beroemde Citroën 'traction-avant' hetgeen voorwielaandrijving betekend.

Fantomas

Ik ben een grote liefhebber van films uit de jaren 60. Met die geweldige retro vormgeving. Laatst nog de FANTOMAS trilogie op DVD weten te bemachtigen.
I am a big fan of movies from the sixties. They have a great retro quality. Recently I got my hands on the dvd of one of my favorites: FANTOMAS.



Na het zien van de films, maar gelijk de pen op papier gezet. Gecombineerd met enkele klassiekers op 4 wielen.
This inspired me to do some drawings of Fantomas and french cars from the sixties.
I love these cars. What a great design.Expect more car-drawings.
